About
This blog was inspired by my relentless search on the Internet to find a guide for the modern lady, a search without any significant findings. It seemed to me that perhaps being lady-like was no longer important to our society and to the women of my generation and, likely, the generations of women to come. Perhaps they consider such a guide archaic with no place in the modern world.
And so To Be a Lady came to be. Daily pieces of advice for the modern lady for guidance, and quotes from celebrated ladies for inspiration.
This guide was also inspired by the books How To Be A Lady by Candace Simpson-Giles, and How To Be Adored by Caroline Cox.
