Anonymous: is there a reasoning behind the last rule? it seems kind of unnecessary to me.

Oh, I just knew I was going to get a lot of grief for this one, so allow me to explain. 

I’m a strong believer that once you’re out of the house, you should be ‘complete’, by which I mean that you shouldn’t be applying your make up or pulling on socks on the bus. With regards to adjusting your underwear in public, I think that it’s rude to essentially force someone to watch you adjust your boobs in your bra cups, or pull your wedgie. Of course some people are perfectly fine with that but you’re always going to find someone who’s going to be offended, disgusted, or uncomfortable. I think it’s best, if you can, to excuse yourself to the bathroom or find a hidden corner and do what you need to do.

Of course, lagging behind your group of friends for a moment or stepping out of a circle will also suffice. 

It’s sort of like picking your nose or when a boy adjusts himself in front of other people, it’s just not something other people want to see.
